She started meditation in 1994 which she learnt from both Western and Eastern teachers, from the U.K, California and with a Theravadan Thai nun, Mai Chee Patomwon. In 2001 she was accredited to teach Chi Gong by MalaysianTai Chi master Peter Chin Kean Choy.

In 2003 she returned to Cyprus and taught life-drawing at the Limassol Studios. Then after graduating from Sunderland University (2004 -05) with a Distinction in M.A .Fine Art she was artist-in-residence for Rednile Projects and made a site-specific installation for them in a disused car-showroom.

She likes exhibiting in unusual places and also made a large-scale installation for the historic Banqueting Hall in Newcastle, U.K. In 2006 she returned to the Sinai after an 8-year gap and reawakened the passion for this part of the world, moving to Cairo in 2007. Here she has participated in group exhibitions, a 2-person exhibition with Egyptian artist Ibrahim Saad at Cairo Atelier and a solo exhibition at Artellewa Contemporary Art Space in Giza.
