Artist's Statement
This work is composed of a montage of photographs I took
of neighboring youngsters while living and teaching in
Pakistan. This experience afforded me the opportunity to
connect with people and interact with them on a day to
day basis, thereby breaking down barriers and finding
common cause as everyday people aspiring to improve
their personal and collective existence, world politics
notwithstanding.
