Landscape has always been important to me. The return
journey from school was through the flat lands of The
Fens, East Anglia, England, which allowed me to stare in
awe at the beauty of sunsets. To be later inspired by
the paintings of Claude Lorraine, Reuben, Constable,
Turner and Rothko, I have decided to use their
inspiration to create the landscapes of “My Neighbours”.
Here in Egypt I attempt to show the contrast between
City and Countryside of my immediate neighbours and the
beauty of their surroundings.
