Biography

Born in Belkas, Dakahliya, Egypt in 1951, Abdel graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria in 1976 where he studied graphic design, followed by a PhD in Fine Arts from Helwan University in 1998. He has been a member of the Commission of Fine Arts Supreme Council for Culture, done workshops in the art of graphics around the world, and teaches in universities in Egypt.
