Biography

Julie Oxenforth is a British international artist living and working in Egypt.

Education:
Grimsby School of Art 1984 – 1986
Canterbury College of Art, 1986 -1988
Sunderland University MA Fine Art with Distinction 2004 -2005

She is represented by Artellewa Contemporary Art Space, Giza, Egypt.

Julie has an interdisciplinary practice currently working in video, sculpture and installation.

Based in Dahab, she is also a massage therapist, trained in 1996, and an accredited Chi Gong instructor, trained 1999 - 2001. To amalgamate her areas of knowledge she has created ‘balance - creativity and the healing arts’ which offers courses, treatments and specialized desert safaris in Dahab and the South Sinai.
