Biography

One day, after visiting the inner chamber of the great pyramid then entering the courtyard of Sultan Hassan’s Mosque I realized it was all there. The Sacred Architecture held all the inner secrets completely intact, just as the day they were built. Then I knew I had to move to Egypt to allow myself enough time to absorb as much as I could – and still seven years later I continue. Alhamdulillah! Before Egypt there was serious preparation, of course, but now a flowering, an eternal spring. As an artist, to inhale the fragrance of the old masters is the greatest privilege.
