The Road Ahead
"We are walking on parallel roads."
She thought.
"How will we ever meet?"
She was a lost soul,
seeking shelter far and near.
He became her shelter.
In his world,
two voices met,
two hands touched,
two hearts embraced..
Still, part of her lingered in the shadow,
her illusionary kingdom,
where no eyes could ever see,
nor ears could ever hear.
The roads meet, somewhere,
though only in a truthful world.
His world.
