My Egypt

When I first thought about "The Road Ahead,” I tried to
imagine our future, but saw nothing. So my painting "My
Egypt" is crying and her hands are stained with the
martyrs’ blood, and she still has the pharaoh snake
crown. As we know, the ancient Egyptians had a love/hate
relationship with snakes, as well as their kings and
presidents, and I believe that leaders are like snakes;
they are our guardianship, our poison and medicine.
Generations come and go, ideas change, but the only
thing that remains the same is that Egypt was for
thousands of years and will always be a homogeneous
civilization with cultures and genes from everywhere.
