Maaike, a Dutch artist, started painting as a means of expressing her feelings towards nature, culture and people. She is inspired just as she is inspiring. She moved to Egypt several years ago, her style changed from realistic- romantic to abstract. Her artistic endeavors have expanded, and she now produces furniture ceramics and glass paintings.
