Talking to Gabriel
“Talking to Gabriel” represents the angel Gabriel, a
messenger to both Christians and Muslims. The writing on
the vertical sides of the canvas tells the story of the
quandary and inner struggle of which to commit
to…wanting to believe and commit, but held back by fear.
“Talking to Gabriel” is a one on one conversation with
the angel Gabriel, but ultimately, the painting is
symbolic of crossing all boundaries, east and west, the
angel messenger guiding you to open your mind and heart,
to believe.
