Julie Oxenforth is a professional British artist who has been living in Egypt for 3 years. A multi-disciplinary artist and contemporary fine art graduate, she has been an artist-in-residence for Rednile, NE England, a tutor at Cyprus College of Art and has made two major installations in Egypt for Cairo Atelier, Downtown and Artellewa, Giza. After 2 years in Maadi, Julie now lives in Dahab where she works as a massage therapist and Chi Gong instructor while setting up studio and exhibition space in the Bedouin village of Assala. She is currently hosting art sessions for Bedouin children at home.
