Biography
Reda Abdel-Rahman Hassanein holds a
doctorate of philosophy with his thesis on the
subject of mural painting. His work focuses on
the relationship between ancient Egyptian and
contemporary art, in the mediums of painting,
drawing and mosaics.

most recent being, Gravure in Versailles, France
Acquisitions:
-Quite a number of acquisitions are in
the Museum of Modern Art and Cultural, Development Fund
and public,
Public Authority for Cultural Palaces
-Municipal Museum of Versailles, France, and government
premises, hotels and individuals in Egypt and abroad.
Contributions to collective action:
-Designed and built many of the wall
paintings and statues field both the Red Sea and the
South Sinai and
Ismailia.
-Established the first printed plastic arts monthly in
Egypt under the name Portrait and founded a gallery
under
the same name
-Established the first international Symposium for
painting in Egypt 2007.
