Artist's Statement
Man cannot afford to live without love and affection,
which has existed since the beginning of creation. No
matter how different opinions and attitudes, God’s love
is shown in man and woman, in nations and tribes, which
exists to show the love of God through promoting a
culture of peace, one of the most beautiful of Allah.
In this painting the sugarcane represents a friend of
the farmer and the fields, set in Upper Egypt. The
Dreamer (man) represents a culture of love and peace
there despite life’s difficulties, which are represented
in colors of orange and red. The features of the faces
express inner tranquility and peace with others.
