Harmony

Suddenly in my bosom, a star shone clear and bright.
All the suns of heavens vanished in that star's light.
We all share one love, one faithlessness and one God.
In my Qur'an I touched Jesus, and in your Bible I sow the face of prophet Mohammed.
So let your soul be one with mine.
There can be no separate you or I at all.

I did my best to reflect with my painting that beautiful and great Sufi poem utilizing all the techniques, colors, and materials that I love.

I included traditional Syrian fabrics (Brocade), gold paper from the Icons, and Arabic calligraphy all blended in strong colors, the red is the color of love, blue is the color of the soul, and gold is bright like my faith.
